Yesterday, I finally tested negative and could be in public. I went to the local IMAX theater and saw David Gilmour Live at the Circus Maximus in Rome. I almost was going to fly to this or Royal Albert Hall on his tour, but time and money were short. And, the concerts sold out very quickly. It was a lot of fun to see. I wish there was less of Pink Floyd material, and more of his solo stuff. Nothing from his first two solo albums was played. I thought for sure, maybe they'd do "No Way Out of Here", but no.

One bit of geekiness that I must admit to seeking. When they showed very briefly his amps, there was only one Hiwatt. Two of the Hiwatts were replaced by Trainwreck copies. He still had two WEM 4x12s and the Yamaha double rotating Leslie type speaker. And more pedals than I could ever figure out what to do with no matter how much free time I had.

Still a good show and fun movie. I'm glad I saw it locally at the theater, and didn't fly off to where ever to see it. Even though it would have been much more fun to see it live.
