Here's my Gibson style, it's a Raven (not Raven West), and a fix for Gibson at the headstock, it's free, works like it should,
and looks better than any other out there, (that's just me, 'cause I'm the inventor of this little jewel).
(just solder small pieces of copper tubing to an old fashioned Fender string tree, and bevel the inside edges of the tubing, entering and exiting).

If you do make one, polish the inside bevels with progressively finer papers rolled in a conical shape to polish those beveled inside edges. Silver solder the tiny tube to the Fender tree if you wish, (I did for the heck of it on the last one that I did for a friend).

There's a bunch of other styles to make of these too, these are my favorite though.

I hope a bunch of you do this and enjoy it.
You know It's completely reversable too.

I'm about a week or so out (Actually, probably longer as I'm hedging on the hardware (decisions, decisions)...)
putting together a Starry Night Stratocaster and was steered to this forum by TVvoodoo if he's on here....

Hardware suggestions from the tuners to the output jack, covers and knobs included, thanks guys!
I removed the Van Gogh decal yesterday (going for a full face decal).

Below is what I was thinking of as a border.
This is from Don O's Strat above, but I'll be using other parts of the painting.

Next, got to knock down the headstock paint in prep for the decal.
Hopefully I'll get the decal finalized in a few days, then think on the hardware colors...
