I loaded the truck [movers did - I packed] 5/23 and closed on the house 5/29. My stuff got here 6/22 - what a cluster just in time for a 6/26-28 show. I twiddled my thumbs, detailed the house - former painting contractor - and bitched at the moving company. Did I mention cluster? So far nothing is busted or missing.
I really like it here, today was only the third day I've turned on the AC by mid day. I'm in the middle of 'where did I put that blankety blanket thing?!? Other good news I did some dB monitoring and even with a bunch of 4'x8' windows 82dB inside is only 50dB outside. I'll be doing some full power testing soon.
@Frodebro I inherited my mom's mouth - that sounds wrong - I had two baby teeth up til 56 and they didn't go quietly and cracked one in half at 63.

Reason #1 for the house purchase - 30'x35' insulated built in garage! Typically the coolest - temp wise - room in the house.

Oh, you’re going to love that. My shop was originally in an uninsulated two car garage, that I parked my car in as well. When I bought the house I’m in now I was able to give the shop its own dedicated 18x28’ space in the basement. All of the big tools (table saw, band saw, router table, miter station) and workbenches have permanent spots, and the drum sander tucks into a corner until I need to use it. I’ve found that I do a lot more down there now that I don’t have to devote time to moving the car, rolling things out, then cleaning up and putting everything back every time I had a project.
