Weirdest Les Paul ever!

U didn't just mow over them and turn em into dust?

Doesn’t work for me. I have WAY too many leaves. I tried that one year and almost killed off my lawn.

In the initial stages of decomposition, leaf litter actually consumes soil nutrients, which can harm your grass if you have too much leaf litter. After it finishes decomposing is when it provides nutrition back to the soil.

I have to bag them. I use the bagging attachment on my lawn tractor. However, I use a mulching blade so some amount of leaf litter makes its way back to the ground, but not so much that it overwhelms the grass.
