So as everyone knows, I spend a lot of time Reverb, both buying and selling (OK, mostly buying). Today I had a buyer ask me for a method other than PayPal. I chose the other methods. I also chose to have it converted to Reverb Bucks , so I could buy some more.
As you all know, with Paypal, the payment clears instantly. However, after the buyer paid, I had nothing. I chatted with then and they confirmed that, although they are fine with the buyer taking their chances with PayPal, not so when it is their money. They will not give you your money when done by this method until the shipping shows as in-transit. That means that if your post office fails to scan it in motion for 3 daye, as mine often does, you will not get paid until then.

It is so much easier purchasing guitars online here in Canada unless the guitar is in the US then I'm stuck with PayPal which I refuse to use after having them freeze my bank account because of a scam buyer who disputed a transaction.
