Walks Backward drives forward I hope

Cars are one of those big expenses that you can't seem to get by without in most of the USA. I live in a city with buses and a light rail train system (which I like and use when practical) that will connect me with trains and buses to L.A. or S.F., but not to the Sacramento international airport. For any "out of the way" places, like neighborhoods where people live, you're walking, biking or riding your Hoveround for several blocks to a mile. There is no service between 11 pm and 6 am weekdays and less service on weekends. Fortunately, I don't have to drive much and when I do, I try to combine chores into a single trip, but at the end of the day, big oil has me by the filler hose.

This was my purchase to transportation peace of mind, that I got last year.

This little 40+ MPG ride is just what I needed:

Test sat it, didn't work for SWMBO and I. Kind of a pain with both of us over six feet and wanting acceptable rear passenger room - meaning in a pinch one of us could ride in back behind the other.

I LOVE mine!

I'm six feet, even. It works really well for tight parking in crowded parking garages. The mileage is great, too.

The rear passenger room does suffer, though. I understand that.

I have been a foster type with our local shelter and involved in animal rescue for ages. Currently 4 dogs & 5 cats. I'll starve before any of them. And people that mistreat any animals instantly rise to the top of my ass-whipping list.

My firm belief is that little children and pets didn't ask to be here and thus it's the responsibility of ALL adults to care for them. Any deviating from that and my list has more names to go with the offenders going to the E.R.....

Raiyn?
DId you draw this??????

No worries Dude-- Wade would eat his own left leg before the cats or dogs ;)

Y'all post stuff so fast and the theme changes before I can respond to it. I can't keep up. I'm gonna go walk a bit with my dogs out in the woods with a big 'ole .45 on my hip..... Y'all just too fast for this old man.

good luck with the new ride.
You can check out any time you like; but you can never leave!!

1 of our 2 current dogs is a rescue; my buddy came across them and has his brother. they are twins in every way except his is a little bigger. they both almost died of parvo.
my last 2 came from: 1 a family member who didnt have time with schedule, and the other a shelter cast away.

I'm growing tired of keeping our old Jeeps road worthy but cant fathom a car payment at the prices of things today, even late model used.

I used to shoot a Gold Cup in a combat league decades ago. Love that .45 ACP.

I'm 6'4" she's 6'5" it makes things "interesting" when economical cars are designed around folks who are around 5'9".

It isn't all that hard, make sure you take the important people along to test for correct fit when buying.

Hoka hey! Big brother has a new ride!
Congrats bro!!! My car's doing nothing at the moment...
May as well be another Rez rocket. Ignition key snapped off in the ignition, and they want $300 for a new key, and to retrieve the broken one!
Oh well... I won't be driving for a while anyway with a busted up right foot, so I guess it doesn't matter much.

Haa! Yeah! That's good!

We used to refer to shotguns as "The Remington 870 Master-key." Hardly a door stood in our way using the Royal Army's SAS entry method for breaching a secured door. A real showstopper!

I hear ya. Buried my father in '82 and my mother in '84. Even when you prepare for it and think you're ready for it, you're not.
