Vivian Prince, the drummer of the Pretty Things passed away this week at his home in Portugal at 81 years old. He was the original lunatic drummer, and Keith Moon would go to Pretty Things show to learn new tricks in deplorable behavior. They wrote the first rock opera, S. F. Sorrow a couple of years before Tommy. I had the opportunity to see S.F. Sorrow performed live by all the surviving members of the Pretty Things back around 2000. An incredible spectacle to say the least.
