Venmo…?

I've used Zelle a couple times to send some cash to my youngest. I think he has used Venmo before and he hasn't told me any horror stories. At the end of the day are any of them 100% safe? PayPal, Zelle, Venmo. Not sure that exists for anything these days. Google Venmo reviews and see what people say. Only reason I went with Zelle was because that's the product my bank uses.

I have Zelle through Bank of America. But a couple times recently, a couple people who owed me money asked if I use Venmo. Perhaps, Venmo is what the younger generation are rather using over Zelle?

I still only use Paypal because it seems to be the only one that covers you for fraud. Whether it's ebay or other online purchase, they are like credit card companies in that they will go after the other person and make sure you are not SOL.

If you're only using it in the friends and family type transfers, maybe it's good. My wife uses it, but I don't. I also don't like having all sorts of apps getting access to my checking account or credit cards.

That’s the nice part of Zelle for me. It’s the one my bank uses. The two times I’ve used it, I logged into my bank from my laptop. Touch more secure than a phone.
