Mom told me this morning that she wants to record an album down here with me. We been listening to a lot of the tracks from the 1978-79 Bakersfield Sessions - on 3" master - and she would like to take some of the "polish" off those recordings and go back to more of a roots style.

I'm sure she will want to add some of her signature cowboy poetry, and maybe a new song or two.

I will post updates to this thread as we progress...

Good tune. Old school country like my parents used to listen to and I grew up hearing. I like the 'shot in one take'. I think a lot has been lost with the whole digital recording/editing these days. Congrats again on the new project...

That was when Mom's studio was still under construction. The walls and ceiling were covered with egg crates for acoustics...
