I have never seen a closeup of Jimmy Vaughn's playing before. Suffice it to say that his technique was quite different than his brother's. The fun starts at 4:53

you silly silly six stringers --- hey wait--- whats that in the mirror-- damn it--- :(

Lookie that, a room full of guitars players and nothing but the same tired old pentatonic wankery over and over again. If anything the boredom starts immediately.

I do not do any stage playing, but I have been told that it is bad form to show-up the guest of honor with a technique far more advanced than they are capable of performing.

Well, of the three only Robert Cray stands a chance at that, but I can dig the sentiment. Nonetheless, no new ground has been trod here; same ol' boring blues progression, same ol' boring blues licks. It's like the first stuff you learn to play when you start to understand scales...yawn.
