Types of resystors and Capacitors

This is the biggest fraud in the industry re branded first it was re branded Mallory 150 series it takes 100 hours brake in time pure BS he got busted big time on that fraud.
Now re branded CDE silver Mica capacitors SoZo Capacitors Inc. | For That Vintage Analog Sound™ I'm talking tube amps as far as guitars everything I play is stock.
The blue molded are re branded Musicaps this guy should be in Jail.
The person you speak of is John Gaynor. I've heard these same negative stories through out the years. I could never verify any of it. Were the caps rebranded, or where they made to spec for John Gaynor by Cornell Dubilier? Cornell Dubilier manufactures the modern day Mallorys, Orange Drops, and Silver Micas just to name a few. The same goes for some transformers... for example: Metropoulos and Marstrans trannies are made by Heyboer to the proprietor's specs. Excellent trannies, by the way.

As far as the claim of a break-in period for caps? I rather describe it as that they "change" thru time and use. Can I notice a difference? ...No! Whatever difference there might be, gets absorbed thru a psychological adjustment of my hearing. The HiFi nuts really preach it, though.

Here's a link to a one page thread started 2 years ago at EL34World. This one seems to be more factual... less speculation:
Sozo caps

These are the old Sozos that have been rebranded as Synergy Royal Mustards:

I saw this one, too when I posted the video that shows a Fuzz box being used. Why didn't the guy from Airbloom Amplifiers reverse the cap in the test, and demonstrate the difference in hum? That being said, I'm going to try this method, too.

EDIT: OK... I just tried it, and it works. And it is even easier than using the Fuzz box method.
