To my fellow forum members,

It has been brought to my attention that some of my "virtual insults" that I've thrown around in this imaginairy game, have actually offended some members herein in real life.

I would like to take this opportunity to offer my most sincere apologies to anyone who was offended by anything that i posted here.

Anything offensive, derogatory or otherwise rude and in poor taste, posted by me, was posted "in character," as part of the fantasy, role-playing aspect of this game.

No actual disrespect was intended.

I'll be withdrawing from this "virtual" competition immediately.

If it means anything Rob. I didn’t notice any of your “role playing” comments were any further out of line than pretty much everyone else’s comments. My personal opinion is that the game kinda came off the rails in regards to good taste. Not feeling all that bad I went out first round.

Well I for one STILL don't understand how the game works or who has the best submission. Let alone knowing if someone is being rude or just playing the game. So I for one did not see anything offensive.

Not my place to get into this.,

"I've said it many times here, beware of muddling your real persona too much with fantasy. It makes "the game" fall apart.
FYI, I was the one offended, and there is missing context. There was private messaging going on at the same time about
game-related issues such as the above. When it went public/ugly I felt the line between good-natured ribbing and a
darker / more personal attack was crossed, and I was not alone.

I said nothing at the time, until today issuing a "good-natured" penalty. More context: Punhammer has been trying to
channel his way out for a number of days now (in the background), so let's kindly allow him the space to do so."

Well it is sad to see that anyone was offended or offensive in this silly game. I'm just getting caught up with posts from the past few pages. Hopefully we can all get past this and be able to enjoy each others company in music.

Once the accusation is made that i acted maliciously, then that accusation must be supported or refuted by fact.

Taken beyond moderator staff is what got my attention…but duly noted…however unusual this has become.
