Trek to the Swamp

Well, as we are heading into the home stretch of our trip to the South, we are officially packed in our nice car after our final night in Savannah GA.
I know Adrian and VoxAC30 and I got to share guitars in the Ford's Garage parking lot in Lakeland FL, but I was really going through withdrawals without an amp to hear my playing through. Good news was 2 days ago I explored to 2 Pawn shops and found a decent little Epiphone Studio 10S practice amp I played on 1 in the hotel room.

Great to hear my SG Classic, 76 SG and P bass again, even if it was kept on don't disturb the other guests, level.
I will officially be sad to be heading NORTH to Maryland by way of Outer Banks NC. due to all that is depressing about impending winter.
 
I do hope we can do it again! We all have a lot in common. And I do remember 25 years of looking up at the sky during the first really cold day in November and wondering if I was going to make it through another winter in NY! Though before that it would not matter as I didn't have a family w kinder so I'd just play
guitar all day. Gave me great chops by April 1st. After March it was go, Go, GO ...
 
I never had a no go Go GO winter in all my years. But guitar related, my dern fingers always split and feel like razor blades when winter hits and this makes playing really painful. PS. I friggin hate that too.
