Awesome , small world!Whenever my wife skates at the Reading Rink, he's usually there. It's the same rink that Nancy Kerrigan skates at. She's chatted with him, and says he's very approachable. She's not a big Boston fan, so they end up talking about skating. And yes, he does use figure skates, not hockey skates. Got to get her to talk him into coming over the house to have me sharpen his skates.
I think I'd try to get him back for a second or third sharpening before going to geekville. I wouldn't want to scare him away. That way he'd come back for more sharpenings, and talking about guitars. Or, I'd let him start when he sees all the amps and guitar cases down here in the cellar.If I ever met Tom Scholz, I can pretty much predict the course of the conversation. I'm pretty sure it would end up in a deep dive into Geekville and Nerdland as I'd probably pick his brain for his electronics knowledge.
