One of my favourite songwriting inspirations, Todd Snider passed yesterday "walking pneumonia" while on tour in Salt Lick City... a bit of controversy around it... he was released from hospital, demanding more medical care... now he's just gone.
Snider was a Swiss Army knife singer/songwriter type very much in the John Prine spirit ... social commentary, humor etc. Had his ups and downs over the years for sure... age 59... same as me. Knocks me back a bit.
