Warwick to be specific--- well-- actually its the LOCAL Tampa DEAN denizens that designed a Bass-- with a Warwick 3"D" bridge which in function is (actually) truly amazing and was 1 of the top 3 reasons I BOught this bass

BRass nut-- Warwick 3 "D" bridge-- ACTIVE PICKUPS (by Bartolini I am told though I have not REMOVED them to check) neck through design---the thing is a FRIGGIN BEAST and talk about ACCESS to the upper frets --- look at that

ANYWAY when I got it the action was like Denver---- or Tommy Chong----A MILE HIGH!

here is a video of the STEPS needed to adjust the bridge--- there are 18 allen screws to loosen and TIGHTEN and adjust HEIGHT-- and 4 Philips head screws for intonation..........

compared to say the average P bass that has 8 allen screws and 4 phillips

I first played one of these Dean basses while taking the TOUR of the Dean Plant in Tampa -- I played both the USA made and the Korean-- and they are Identical in specs-- weight and feel--
Ia also played the Entwhistle USA Made there at the custom shop---exquisite!

the Demonator LOOKS all out of whack and like something Salvador Dali would paint-----it is PERFECTLY balanced-- the GIANT headstock off sets the weird body and it plays as well SEATED as it does standing
the controls allow for ALL SORTS of wonderful bass tones-- and none HAVE TO BE all metal-ish...

really like this beast....

fresh RotoSound tapes on the girl now --- isnt she sinister------

tapes really TAME the beast--- if the inlays werent so lovely Id dye the fretboard jet black and be done with it lol

surprisingly comfortable-- excellent playing thin shallow "C" neck balances perfectly seated or standing --

the Warwick bridge is stellar -- has a CRAP TON of adjustments-- takes a month to dial it in -- but once its there -- WOW

As an "aside" -- the Worlkd Music LTD co in Korea -- TMK is who makes Dean there--so this beast is on a par with these other fine brands made at the same factory--
