So, as I'm watching the Landover Redskins (AKA, the Washington Redskins) get absolutely blasted by the New York Giants....

I figured I'd post a pic of this morning's rig..

THey are STILL the Redskins -- thought they got sued........

"Landover Redskins"? That's just my cynical way of naming them. They no longer play in DC. Their home playing field is in Landover, Maryland. Their practice facility and HQ is in Ashburn, Virginia.

The name "Washington" is in name only. They don't have an actual presence in Washington DC, anymore.

I'm not much of a football fan, either. Though, I do catch a game, now and then.

I'm more partial to hockey.

Funny story-- the company (or wealthy person basically) I worked for at the Key West Citizen (Kent Cooke Sr.) -- his family (and their considerable monies) used to OWN the Redskins-----many moons ago--

he also owned the Kings hockey team and several others over the years-- mutiple companies-- publications etc--

the FUNNY part was the fact they used terms like "earning your feathers" ---- REDSKISN reference when I worked there-----

FYI the COokes are monumental douchenozzles-- but hey -- thats just my opinion.......... :)
