Maybe it really is going to insanely high levels? Wouldn't that be a hoot?
Turning off alarms before breakfast beer is prudent. I hate interruptions.

Turning off alarms is what they do in nuclear power plants....
"oh, it must be a sensor failure..."
Then 10 minutes later it melts the containment, typical.
They spend 2.2 billion on sensors... then they ignore the sensors....then it explodes....normal procedures snafu...then they spend 80 billion to clean it up and start over.

They didn't stock a spare sensor / hydro-ranger? That's their karma, in a time of insanely high indicator readings... (why would a system read that high?) Why would anyone make a system that reads that high?
Do they know something we don't?
Obviously beyond the control of mortals....

As of today there are 2 spare ULS and a spare Hydroranger on the shelves in the supers office.
