Thought I would share what our admin @WavMixer posted in the Chat Box. For lack of a better term.... I'll refer to it as our Mission Statement. Was going to put it in an existing thread, but none really worked. Since posts in The Chat Box scroll off the screen and most will not see it..... here ya go.

"For those of you that are new here and have not yet figured it out... We are a friendly community here, much like a family. All are welcome to come play nice. Bullies are kicked out of our playground. Some of us have expensive gear, some of us have cheap entry level gear. Some of us are professional musicians, some are just hobbyists learning how to play. Regardless of playing ability or gear budget, we are all friends/family here. The reason that we do not have 10,000 members here is to create a safe environment for like-minded people to gather and enjoy each other’s company. If someone is intent on making other members miserable, they are escorted out the door. This site is not about how much money can be made by placing ads and getting lots of page impressions. This site belongs to the members here and we will not lose sight of our core values of being a safe happy place to be." - @WavMixer

57 & large screen monitors. (y)
I saw that….. 57. Just messing with you. Figure like most of us, bifocals are all the rage.

I’m actually pretty lucky considering I’ve worn glasses for distance since I was 10. Didn’t do the transitional lenses till I was somewhere in my 50s. And that was only for computer work. I’m… shall we say not in my 50s any more and I can still read without glasses.

We’ve had some questions come up as to what’s acceptable and what’s unacceptable to post here in TTR. We don’t really have any “rules” per se other than try and keep it decent. Good taste vs bad taste.

I think a good rule of thumb would be…. Ask yourself…. Would I want one of my kids (you young whipper snappers still have some of those) or grandkids (in my case since I’m old) to look over my shoulder and see the post or read the post. If the answer is no….. then don’t post it.

And just to add a teeny bit, no politics, religion or nudity. Naked guitar bodies are allowed. :rolf:
