So I have been stymied trying to locate an item from my youth. I clearly remember seeing an item in guitar magazines in the 80's which I believe was called the guitar jacket. It basically was like a neoprene cover for the body of your guitar that still exposed the top but protected the back against buckle rash. If I remember correctly the ads were in Guitar Player and in black and white and had a dude with long straight blonde hair like Michael Schenker.
Does anyone remember those? Do they still exist? Did they work? What were they called?
