Due to a slightly steeper than ideal neck angle, I'm cutting a "Fall-Away" into this guitar. This involves employing a method used on factory-produced acoustic guitars where the 15th fret upwards is cut down at an angle, which maintains ideal 12fret action but increases the sustain in the higher register.

Takes a lot of passes to restore that crown!!!!

The real offender here was the 22nd fret. It was very high and uneven - clearly distorted from a hammer blow!
