Haaa haaa,
Before I read your comment of "Had a few friends over a while back" I looked at the heading and photo and pegged you as a VERY sick man instead of the slightly sick man I understood you to be ;-)
 
I don't know much about Corvettes other than they're beautiful :-)
I like your T top more than full convertible, way too much sun around here!
My neighbour 4 houses up has a red one. I almost bought one a couple of years back but got a Holden Monaro (Pontiac GTO) instead.
 
PS, I can't believe you have a car sub forum here. Now I have to seriously think about have I had more cars than guitars or the other way around. Damn. Is there a wine forum I haven't found yet.....

Yeah we get our share of sunshine here in So Cal. I fell in love with the 69 coupe as a 12 year old when they first came out and a neighbor had one.
 
I have two car and a car service as part of my contract with the hospital and the AMA. I am not allowed to drive because I am past legally blind. I am still allowed to put your skull back together.
I can buy all the car I want but can only put a quater in the meter. That is a bitch guys.
 
Well Don O, it's nice to see another gearhead here! I don't own a Vette, but I love them. I don't own a Porsche either, but I do have friends that own both. We like to go out and play with each other. Here is some footage of one of our play days together.

Well I guess if you consider a 2.5 mile track short, I like it too.
Turn 2, "The Rabbits Ear" is a double apex sweeper, it's turn 8 and 9 that go on forever, even at 130 MPH. Just after turn 6 is my favorite passing place on the back straight.

Well wavman that’s bitching. I haven’t done that kind of track, but lots of 1/4 miles. Need to, figure out how to post a video from an iPad. My DD is a nicely moded 2010 Camaro.

I've been known to light up a 1/4 mile too, but just like America's favorite indoor sport, I like my fun to last longer than 12 seconds :wink:


BTW, this is my daily driver. 396 HP with 406 Ft Lbs of axle twisting torque. All from 2.0 liters and 21 PSI boost. I am the black one on the inside lane.
