The Danger Of AI Summed Up Nicely

I think the term AI has become misaligned in some ways.
Artificial Intelligence would refer to algorithms that learn or adapt, according to data fed into it.
For example, some cameras have eye detection focus points thet have to use an average of where your eye looks thus a form of AI averages whee your eyes look and adapt the software. After awhile it is perfect.

Is this feature automatically bad because it is a form of AI?
AI also with searches (whoever doesn't take internet searches with a grain of salt is causing a problem for themselves) averages out a multitude of responses and amalgamates them. Again, not necessarily a bad thing but if it is using poor data then it becomes a poor response.
In these cases using some judgement and common sense helps.

Other forms are taking away human jobs etc, granted. I just think all of it doesn't need to be lumped into the same boat. It has become a generic term.

Chalk it up to operator error. :rolf:
Joking aside. Always been pretty good at math. Usually aced my classes both in HS and the ones I took as an adult taking college courses. So yeah. Trig was pretty frustrating because I just plain didn’t get it.

What do mortgages and trigonometry have in common? You have to sine and cosine. :rolf:
