the Ace

Ace Frehley "I dunno what Im doin'" --- so o.k. I have that part down ......so why dont I sounds like him !?!?!?!

The FIrehouse "trick" (I love that song and SOLO) --I been wondering about that for 40 F-ing years----- mind ----blown

I like this one better than "Firehouse."

Hey...wait a tick...I'm trying to watch an old James Bond movie and I'm getting sucked into an internet vortex!

Back to some Russian collusion with "From Russia with Love."

The Smitster will be back after he watches some more Connery action.

Vinnie can play circles around Ace.:celebrate2:

;>)/

Maybe. But Ace was involved in writing all of the classic Kiss songs, has an undeniable charm and a playing style that literally launched a thousand rock/metal guitar playing careers.

Ace's lasting impact on rock music is immense. Vinnie played in a band.

yes.....that.

Same for Bruce Kulick and Mark St John......hired guns-- good players (better than Ill ever be) but--- they arent ACE--
Tommy Thayer is good-- was a great in Black N BLue as well -- but again he is only playing what ACE created.....

the BEST Elvis impersonator in the WORLD ---is still --- just an impersonator---not the Original

So...you’re saying I shouldn’t start an Elvis impersonation gig?

I could be original...

I mean...c’mon...a ginger Elvis?

That’s never been done before!

I never was a KISS devotee. All I ever have seen of them is what I see on television or, mostly, YouTube. I do watch a lot of that!

I totally get that KISS is pretty much where they are due to the synergy of the original four members.

But, from a personal, stylistic perspective, I prefer the sound and styling of the unmasked era with Eric Carr and Bruce Kulick.
