I been thinking about this for a while and this morning I approached Grant about the possibility of deleting this account.
For a while now, a few months at least, I've been getting emails - from Hushmail accounts via TOR exit nodes - that have been less than pleasant and all make references to TTR posts.
In general, an opinion that does not follow socially accepted norms is subject to scorn and ridicule
But this morning, the attacks began to mention my wife and for me, that's enough. While I can respect your right to free speech, I believe I am entitled to object to your view.
A line has been crossed.
Clever as you may be, attacking under the guise of anonymity, I can assure you that based on writing style, I know who you are...and there are more than one generating these messages.
I've been tolerant of the childish banter in the past, such as "if you lived closer to my neck of the woods I'd come kick your ass," but comments most recently of "I feel sorry for your wife. It must be difficult to live with a narcissist," are simply unwelcome.
Neither of you have a set large enough to express these opinions publicly. You efforts to hide your IP stem from the knowledge that you know what you are doing is norally and ethically wrong and you would be banned outright if your identity was discovered.
There are some real cowards at work here.
I foolishly posted my email some years back and since I use it for so many things, I cannot simply or easily delete that email account.
I've applied filters to divert certain items to spam for immediate deletion.
Now many of you I know personally and we will continue to have communication and I will continue to receive emails from members here, but I really want to move past this.
