tc electronic dark matter distortion

i just ordered one. i found an open box deal on ebay for 45 bucks. i did a lot of listening to youtube clips and it seems the dark matter bridges the gap of overdrive and distortion. plexi like drive. im looking forward to trying it out. im gonna swap out my metal muff. the metal muff is a little over the top for me. i wanted something a little more natural sounding, and the dark matter (after listening to youtube clips) seems to be what im after.

I have seen a few people that really like that pedal. I haven't tried it yet.

Hope you like it; it is pretty 'neutral' for a distortion pedal.

I got to try it out for the first time today. Its one of the best sounding high gain pedals ive heard. Its not over the top, but its got a lot of gain, natural sounding like a tube amp being pushed to the brink.
