That's better.
That's not the queen. There's about 8 Bumble Bees on my plant outside and i quickly noticed one was gigantic compared to the rest. Its the queen and the newest hatchlings pollinating, which is really awesome to see. Never seen a queen!

Absolutely! I hate bugs as my greatest fear but butterflies, honeybees and bumblebees all get cool marks in my book because they basically pollinate EVERYTHING and make the world go round. Praying Mantises are pretty awesome too as the perfect killing machine, kinda like nature's version of The Predator/The Terminator lolWe need our Bees!!! No bees means no guitars, no amps, and no pedals!!! God Save the Queen...![]()
I can definitely see that! Lol it was absolutely massive compared to the other 7 pollinating. I didnt even think it was a Bumble Bee at first, but rather a Carpenter Bee ( which we get around here and they kind of resemble them but bigger and clumsier)That's not the queen.
That's Mothra.

Those would be my downfall: i let my guard down on Honey Bees as cool, fuzzy little workers that hustle everyday and help the world.....only to be stung to death without a shed of mercy or compassion by those brutal killing machines lmaoAh you'll be fine worked outdoors for 30yrs+, only have one good stinging story Lol.
They have Africanized bees out here, very aggressive indeed.
Ya, some of them are kinda a$4holes.Those would be my downfall: i let my guard down on Honey Bees as cool, fuzzy little workers that hustle everyday and help the world.....only to be stung to death without a shed of mercy or compassion by those brutal killing machines lmao
I think the last sting i got was about 6 years ago, killing a nest of Yellow Jackets under my porch and a nest of European Paper Wasps on one of the balusters. Got 2 stings from the yellow jackets, next day a sting from the paper wasp. That one, was the most painful i think i ever took and actually had a bad reaction: swelled up eyes, hard breathing and had to take a big dose of Benedryl lol ( wasnt allergic previously but who knows now?)Ya, some of them are kinda a$4holes.
Bad attitude I guess.
Lol i think that makes me more of a geek for taking photos of insects honestlySo…does It mean that I am a total geek because I thought this thread was going to be about capacitors?
I mean, I wasn’t expecting it to be about real bumblebees!
I was chasing bugs for 10 years for a living early in my career, writing softwareLol i think that makes me more of a geek for taking photos of insects honestly
