Excellent track Bft love the wife’s voice, the guitar sounds great, you got no worries bro, let them go that was awesome!
Cheers Mitch

I’m starting to get used to saying “great job” to you!
Thanks again for being kind enough to share recording details too. That’s helpful, and important to me.
I’m listening right now, and really digging the solid bass track.
Lots of nice guitar detail work too.

I have been very lucky
, I have been listening to BFT ‘s work for a year now, as I met my brother on the MF, in a thread by a member here named LRT, called show me your riffs!
Cheers Mitch

thank you sir..am a bass player first & bail my azz out..lol
It definitely shows sir! The grooves are solid. I’m a hack, but know what I like, and will mouth off about it.
If you ever want to share vocal mic’s in use, and or any funky studio preamps in use(for vocals,.... or anything for that matter), you will not hear any complaints from me.... (y)

i appreciate you like the settings of the amps..always thought on a gear site...lets see the guitars, amps and settings people use to get those sounds..really helps on gear purchases..i always look for posts where people dig into their gear & show how it works

Hahahahaha!!! Awesome!
As someone that tries on everyone’s shoes occasionally...I, sometimes, think I could use a good “money” channel. I’ve learned over the years that I do have an appreciation for certain microphones used for certain tasks. I know that preamps come in to play too...but I never seem to be able to justify the necessary expenditures for them, over the ones that I have had on hand over the years...I seem to be able to get the job done...make do...so to speak.
Your wife’s vocals are solid hi-fi splendor though....the kind of stuff that I would like to know more about....the methodology of capture. :)

cool, what is interesting is this go round, Jon, my studio guy..we went old school across the board..strait in...he took my pedal board last year..with Marshalls no pedals ever needed..with fender..you need a mid bump to layer on the rhythm or it welds together..why most twin players get lost in mix(srry no offense) but a/b marshall will swallow a fender in the mix..but i found fenders are better platforms to build on cause "clean" you want your singer singing on clean not dirty all the time..or its a vocal-guitar clash. J stands in the booth into 1 mic..& what i do know it goes into a tube preamp then strait into pro tools. I will def get you the tech info next song & post the settings like the amp ones..this next one is a rocker//so things will be set a lil dif..we have to capture a hotter music mix & squeeze singer in more..but i will bring down the vocal passages a whole lot more than in previous years..it helps the whole song..no one can fight root-5th power chord for 4 minutes..so now have been learning to pick the individual notes of full chord during singing. Its hard to bring a voice out of mix with out straining the singer when its all gained up & very bassy & congested..then they come out of natural range & sing from the throat maybe vs the soul
