Sunshine, started as a cheap Weber kit, found it dead on CL. Traded something for it. Took it to my tech & he happened to have 67 & 67 power parts from a fender bassman around. Did it up to bassman specs & good glass. MV is added, thing was the best pedal platform & clean amp..it loves Celestions & starts to get nice mid. Then the mesa Triple Recto fell into my life., yes the brootz but right away favored the tube rec & spongy side & not much gain. Amazing rock amp with any edge of break you want-but on greenbacks & swamp things..it out Britished some of my brit amps.. called my tech & he was shocked to see i went the mesa route..he mentioned..would i want to ditch the fender power in my amp.. said sure what can we do? .cause use the Mesa MK3 into EV in its place.. so we discussed,,channel 1 make it more like my Recto & chan 2 leave it low value fenderish BUT as a way to bring in botom end as needed so i dont have to mess with chan 1..basically want it wide open & will control it with my guitar knobs..so he did this

Weber wo22798 40 watt transformer & matching other part. Really like how a bandmaster hits early so went with this power output route so could run this amp wide open
Chan 1 is cascaded with some stages of gain..instant classic rock dimed but this thing has gobs of bottom end like a recto but no fizz on the dial..boost it..this thing is nasty tight but with attidude fro tube rec..a lil schizzle in there it seems
Chan 2 has not much gain & works great with single coils at chords & hit pedal to pop lead
PPIMV Trainwreck 3 style

Into the Mesa halfback Black Shadow MC90's is perfect. the amp does 2 very remarkable things noticed..it will thump like a Recto but super tight & more mid in your face(hard to believe this goes from a 45 to that hard hitting in a dial movement) & you can find any volume on this amp..even whisper & manipulate the chan volumes to make it sound great at any level. The real key has been matching all these amps to 4x12's...the natural circuits need to come up in volume like they were made to do..as vol comes up..everything in tandem comes alive..no forcing it down & killing the goodness...took a long time to pair all these amps but way worth it. Sunshine is a beast with subtle accents..

Good looking amp brother how’s the final word (what is it’s next job) they all get a song.
Cheers
True..caught between 2 new ones..one is brootal on the Triple & the other is the jet City & 2204 tgether. The Jet City totally revived the exploration into marshall tight crunch but with way less gain than before. Gotta try an Origin someday like you play. Hear something in them..get the volume up & they sound nice. The 20 kinda intersts me now a lil bit cause of winding it up, the 20 watters stay semi sane

The 20 watt Origin is what sold me on them in the first place, they aren’t known for being to heavy, and saturated, but that old school Marshall flavor just oozes out of them.
Cheers
