I use Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky .046 X .009 on all my 24.75" scale guitars. T o get the same bend feel of my 24.75" guitars - on my 25.5" Jackson - what string gauge should I shoot for????
I don't think you'll ever match it exactly. I've always used 10-46 sets on my Gibsons (GHS Boomers) and when I have owned 25.5" scale guitars I have used 9.5-44 on Teles and 9-42 on Strats. Gets you close, definitely in the ballpark, but not the exact feel.
I suppose if I was trying to get close in feel to the 9-46 hybrid set on a Floyd I'd probably start with the 8-38 and adjust to taste from there.
9-42 on the 25.5 and 10-46 on the 24.75. Plus I found running the 10-46 set on the Gibbys really helps with tuning stability. I used to use 9-42s on them and it was a nightmare. Much better with the 10 set.Thanks.. I know it will never be exactly the same, but I notice much more effort trying to play the 25.5" compared to the 24.75" guitars.

Half of my guitars run 10-52 with a wound 3rd so I have no clue what so ever
OH I am sure my gauge choice would make you crazy after awhile.I'm happy with .009 x .046" on the Jackson. It has a similar feel to my Les Paul's.

I am with you on that ChiliThis is totally weird. I have NEVER EVER felt any 25.5 Scale length Fender as being harder to bend than Gibsons with shorter 24.75.
Maybe it was because I never knew there was such a thing and so I just played em and it felt like it felt. Of course I do have Popeye forearms, and not much with any set of 10's resists my bending too badly. Now with 9's, they feel super loosey and even bendy out of pitch just fingering regular chords.
