Thanks so much for this post.

It's a damn shame these two men no longer walk the Earth, talk about an overload!

I have been fortunate to witness both these men play. Play doesn't seem like an adequate word. They both were a mass of energy, what they did was something I can't verbalize.

I'll tell you this...the more I study Yngwie, the more I am impressed with his playing, style and tone...and he's doing all this today as an older man, high kicks and all.

Although I posted Gary Moore and Doug Aldrich, they are not 'dedicated' Stratocaster players...
