SO -- I really never paid much attention to this company till a recent trip to GC and I was there to try bass amps--
I picked UP a SUB 4 Sterling by Music Man Stingray -- and well
I now OWN this one

So I am now -- "interested" in the guitars by this Sterling BY Music Man Co.-----

ANYONE got one????
tried one?
beat a mugger to death with one?

Oh Im FLOORED by the bass---
I played other USA Stingrays-- for (under 250.00) this thing is AMAZING -- the TONE is deep rich and lush-- the neck is a wonder-- its solid holds tune and goes BOOM --

which made me curious about the 6 string things this Co. is putting out there

I believe Sterling is EBMM's SE Asia brand?
Nothing wrong with those guitars at all.
Think about Epiphone or PRS SE.
Perfectly fine guitars there too.

I have played several and found them to be very sweet guitars, well made and a nice finish and setup.

The JP ones seem very nice---- I mean look at it!

AGREED!

Im curious about the location of that switch though --- its in a WORSE place than the Fender Strat Volume KNOB!

Glad you found a nice bass you like at a great price. I've never tried anything by this brand...

I've noticed over the years that, for me, while I cannot find a decent guitar at the lower prices ranges, low end basses I've had (a 70s style HB, a Jaguar Squire) were perfectly playable as they came without modifications. Maybe that has just been luck of the draw with such a small sample range.

No I would agree Grump---
Basses tend to be better at cheaper leveles--- or something --- hadnt thought of it -- but---I have very low $$ basses that play and sound amazing---
50.00 Squire "P" bass-- 132.00 Epiphone Thunderbird---

now the equivalents -- what a Strat and a Firebrid in the 6 string category your going to pay CONSIDERABLY more (and I have) for versions that dont "float my boat" as well as the low end $ basses....

IT is a funny thing

THIS -- Tony M-- this is friggin AMAZINGLY gorgeous
