At the end of this month I will be taking "Getting Your Guitar Sound" and it looks really COOL!!

Holy cow...you are going all out! You are definetly a guitar fanatic. I myself just play guitar the way I play it. I don't get to technical and all that jive but everyone is different to their approach on guitars.

I'm simplistic and I guess that's the way I'll always be. I'm old school. I can't be bothered by too many effect pedals and all that jazz. It's too confusing at my age. As long as I have my Fender Twin Reverb amplifier and a few good pedals I'm good to go. Good luck on your complicated journey for the ultimate guitar tone that you are seeking.

BTW...It's good to find your own tone instead of someone else's. Be original in your own setup instead of someone else's. You might start a trend and someone out there might be seeking your own tone.

I committed to this guitar journey a couple years ago...I still can't play an entire song! But I love this stuff and I refuse to quit...if I never get any better I don't care. I'm going to keep plugging along and learn everything I can! This course is part of an 8 course Master Guitar certificate program. Thanks to my 9/11 GI Bill I get to learn for free!

This looks like a highly worthwhile endeavor.

I have an easier way for you though.
If you can't find your sound, you are more than welcome to take mine and
I'll go find a new one that is hopefully not as awful as the one I have now.

I always say, practice is not going to make me any worse.

Wow...that list makes me dizzy....I don't think I could grasp all of that!!!!
 
I've just abount decided that the best tones are the ones that are PC modeled. My project now is to use my old 1997 Marshall VS265 to accept the modeling software.
