Spotlight - 2008 PRS CU24

This is my Artist Package PRS Custom 24 with HFS/VB pickups. It is wired with separate push pulls for series/split and I ditched the 5-way rotary for a 3-way toggle like the PRS McCarty line has. I was bored, so I included a boring sound sample, although I am very happy with the nice spice the subtle slapback from my new Flashback adds to the mix (thanks again Big Daddy!).

Also, as you can see in some shots, I went wireless recently. I will save that for another thread.

I do. I re-planed the fretboard and re-fretted that one myself. It even has gold PRS McCarty Archtop pups in it. What you got?

Both of my Miras have dots.
I like the birds but the dot miras
played too good to not buy them.
Mira's are solid guitars. I would have liked to get a guitar with "moons", but at the time, birds were the corky preference and I bought in hook, line and sinker!

That's a real beauty guitar RVA! I take it that's an ebony fret board...that's a bonus. I love the feel of an ebony FB which I have on my Gibson SG. I've always liked PRS guitars and their design. Carlos Santana sure put the PRS guitars on the map in the 80's. I have a vinyl sound sheet I got from a guitar magazine back in the late 1980's of Santana playing a song called "Blues For Salvador" which he plays on a PRS. He sure gets great tone from that guitar.

Thanks! They are pretty awesome. I think Paul reed Smith snuck into a show and stuck one in Santana's hands and the rest is history
