For me, it's @CoyotesGator and @T-Rex. These are two of the most generous, kind, knowledgeable, supportive, and PATIENT people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Both have been guiding me through my dream of amp building for several years now. Countless late nights helping me figure out where I screwed something up or offering technical improvement advice. And doing it via screenshots is just amazing to me. I truly believe I never would have gotten one note of tone out of my builds without them. Gentlemen, heartfelt thanks to you. You are truly my Amp Godz.
 
This is me being pretty transparent actually. In order of precedence
-My kids
-My Wife
-My parents/siblings/niece/nephews and in-laws
-Friends: which is actually all you good folks here at TTR. Since joining, you have all been really kind, informative and generally fun to talk to, even if it has to be via text script. You're all genuine and thats what matters most.

My "friends" here at home have all gone their separate ways years ago and honestly, most were fairweather anyhow, would visit or call when it was beneficial. I dont use Social media either because its a cesspool and too many flakes, fakes and drama queens i cant relate with on even a basic level. But you people here i would consider friends, even if we dont get to sit before one another face to face, doesnt change the rating of any of you.

Thats why i never mentioned “friends” for same reason you have listed. You know it Sad but true ......yey yeah ( see what i did there) ?
 
My wife and all of her grandkids. I never had children of my own but these kids mean everything to me. Like many of you my childhood friends have grown more distant but I still keep up with some of them on social media. Last but not least are all my friends on here.

I could name several. Our two boys and spouses. Four grankids. A couple gentleman that were my parents age that became mentors and friends. Then there was the Pastor in Training that interned in our little town summer of 1974. It was in one of his small groups where I was playing guitar. The future Mrs. IbLive took an interest. Married in 1978 and been together since.

However..... it all starts with this lady. So you see..... the guitar player really does get the girl.

Likewise my friend! I was fortune enough to meet a few of you guys over at the Marshall Forums. But you actually brought me in here and its thru that, i got to talk to all these great folks here, so ill always be grateful to you for that.

This place is like no other.
And Robert and Chili are responsible for asking me to join here, and I have persuaded a few more great people to come take a look.

Wav PMed me over on etsg. I think he sent me a couple notes. I was a little slow checking this place out. Not even sure we were at 200 members when I finally got here. And I concur with the consensus. TTR is unlike any other forum I’ve been associated with. This place is family.
