I have a couple of Reapers in a 2X12 cab. One regular(like the currently available non-HP), and one with a 55Hz cone(no longer in regular production). I like them for when I’m feeling Tool-ish. They work well with small to mid power amps...15-22 watt tube amps. They blend well with the Celestion Vintage 30s in my Recto cab...when paired up.

Love Tool! The HP is no longer being made? They seem pretty clear with a decent upper mid huh? (Non HP)

I got the Eminence customs I believe in my Diezel (no sticker on magnet). Muffly low but sound good up loud.

No...it’s the 55Hz that is not in current production...it’s the “bass” version.
Yes they can take the gain in a good way...without being harsh. Mine needed a little break-in time, but it is a cab that I reach for without hesitation.

I got the Eminence customs I believe in my Diezel (no sticker on magnet). Muffly low but sound good up loud.

Yeah, the Reapers will brighten that up for sure.
Sometimes some speakers/cab’s just don’t like running low wattage/volume.

I almost got Creamback H,s but I wanted lower watts since I got a 20w amp. Had i bought the amp first, I woulda got a 2x12 but one day I walked in GC and saw my cab and I said holy, a Diezel 4x12 for $699, MINE!

Oh yeah...we have a “room” for this type of amplifier/speaker cab discussion. It’s a sub-forum called Room Eleven. You may find some other, useful, opinions there.
