I have a couple of Reapers in a 2X12 cab. One regular(like the currently available non-HP), and one with a 55Hz cone(no longer in regular production). I like them for when I’m feeling Tool-ish. They work well with small to mid power amps...15-22 watt tube amps. They blend well with the Celestion Vintage 30s in my Recto cab...when paired up.Decided to get some WGS Reapers (not HP) just for the heck of it. Any thoughts on those with metal tones?
No...it’s the 55Hz that is not in current production...it’s the “bass” version.Love Tool! The HP is no longer being made? They seem pretty clear with a decent upper mid huh? (Non HP)
Yeah, the Reapers will brighten that up for sure.I got the Eminence customs I believe in my Diezel (no sticker on magnet). Muffly low but sound good up loud.

Yes they can take the gain in a good way...without being harsh. Mine needed a little break-in time, but it is a cab that I reach for without hesitation.

Hey Jay Cee... Let me introduce you to eSGEe. He and his clan are relatively harmless, unless you're on his property.Speakers? -- yes I highly recommend using them --- guitars dont sound good without them
