....I will need a new workhorse.

I do have a collection of several guitars, but here's the thing; I want set neck or neck through......the biggest thing is I don't want a bolt on neck.....can't change my mind on that either....that's just the way it is for me.....

I don't want a Floyd Rose, or a Kahler. I want a simple electric guitar with excellent natural tone, and it should possess these qualities without tricks or gimmicks. A string-thru and over a ToM bridge is a preferred method for me too....

Give me a chunk of wood that I can not only hear, but also feel resonating in my hands as I fondle her....

I prefer the V shape

Suggestions to fuel my GAS please?
 
One thing I love about my silverburst V is the baseball bat neck. It's a '58 profile, IIRC, and by far it's the most comfy neck I've had.

I used to be a shredder/speed metal kind of dude at one point; I matured. I went from matchstick thin necks and double locking trem systems all the way back to a simple fat neck and a ToM type bridge.

I will say that I might prefer a string though body system rather than a stopbar....

Maybe I am nuts, or maybe I'm a dreamer.....

One thing is for certain: I love cheese.
