So, Who's Up for a Zoom Call?

Since, we're all locked down and many of us have probably taken advantage of Zoom recently, I wonder who would be up for a Zoom call tonight, say around 9:00 PM Eastern time or maybe even a little later? For the sake of practicality, this should be limited to about 10 people. My basic account only allows for a 40 minute call.

I'm thinking we definitely want @eSGEe to join, for comic relief and Peavey content, if nothing else!

No. To join a Zoom call (or just about any web-based call, for that matter) a person would need either a smart phone, a tablet, or a PC with a webcam and mic. However, it's best to use a headset with a mic, as you can sometimes get echo or poor audio from just using a built-in mic and speakers.

The way it would work is that interested people could PM me their email addresses. I would set up a call starting at some time, such as the 9:00 PM time (EDT) that I suggested. Then, I would email everyone a link with an access code. If you've never used Zoom, it may install an app on your device. Usually, if you click the link you don't even need the code.

I’d be up for. We are on week 3 of doing a Zoom meeting in a small Corvette club I belong to; we do it on Fridays at noon PDT. It’s very simple to use and works great. The first week they waved the 45 minute free time and we went for an hour and a half. Last Friday it kicked us off at 45 minutes, but we all simply logged back in and used the same meeting number and password and it started right back up.

I have to work -- (yes) -- will be onsite construction -- parking lot striping renovations and changes in Land O Lakes FL. -- and can only do them AFTER HOURS as the grocery store is open 7 days a week.
AND this job was SUPPOSED to be done end of MARCH we have had several delays....and issues and -- if Im not THERE I will be getting 15 phone calls ANYWAY to answer questions---so-- its faster and easier to just BE THERE. --- poop---

I had some serious PEAVEY content to unveil as well (not really) but I was going to unleash my plan to post a PEAVEY every time Norm posts a Godin --- just to BALANCE the ratio

maybe if tonight's ZOOM MOTM goes well...I can drop in on the next one?
