It looks to be fairly new on the market, has some reviews I have found 15 on Amazon some good ones and a few not so good. I think I would wait a while until its out there to see more reviews. Before I would pick one up..

I have a Snark. I will use it to tune the guitar, but I take it off right after. I don't leave it in place.

Agreed. Best thing I ever did in my life is learn to tune a guitar by ear. I do have a tuner on my pedalboard but I use it to confirm I am in tune, not to actually tune.

As did I. Usually tuned to a piano and fine tune by ear. This was back in the day (70s) before small pedal board tuners were the rage. Like you I have a tuner on my board and the GT1 has a built in tuner. But I still tweak by ear.

Yep. Totally agree. The other tacky one to me is not trimming strings after installing new strings.

That's a pet peeve of mine - a guy I was in a band with years ago almost took my eye out once. I did finally get him to start trimming them though,
