Many hours of looking for next amp lately... Roadking 2, Roadster, Tremoverb, Stilleto...looking for next amp....searching for something tone wise in my head. Was at the back of Triple Rec half stack looking at everything & saw the Slave out. its .full compliment of the Recto pre & post available at line level. been really looking for the next compliment.

Took slave out into the return of DSL100h bypassing the pre amp...YES !! standing in between those 2 amps..the speakers in those cabs.. the 2 dif mid hits of the amps , Incredible !!

The depth of the sound..the punch!! I have em at opposite ends facing each other about 15' apart. The Slave out knob allows to adjust level for even balance. The effect is so dramatic..you can eve turn it down & the perceived hugeness is stunning.. Thought of @Mitch Pearrow SJMP & his multi amp Marshall rig..won't run it like this all the time..but man its like stepping into another sound dimension.

I love the thick wall so much, I don’t play without it now!!
Cheers

It is huge !! Did you notice you were able to set the volume lower than on a single amp use ,but still sound bigger, ? It was full t my ears..maybe nt as thumpy but very musical, Going to have to try it in the bandroom next. Put a rig on each side of drummer.
Yes and when it was split apart you could walk into the sweet spot, where they both sound as one, cannot do that the way they are set up now (next to each other) and when I had connected all 6 together I had a huge wall of thick meaty tone.
Love the way it comes across.
Cheers
Mitch

Seems the consensus is..more is gooder...

With the 2 amps & cabs with certain speakers in them i was using. Sure is NO weak spot in EQ

Mitch..yes that sweet spot.. i freeze there & all is good for a few moments in life for a change..

Got some time in & finally landed on the "keeper rig for now. Since Mesa Slaves out at line level after all tone shaping is done in pre & post..you get full tone to feed. I dig that. The other amp picks up the characteristics of the amp but adds it own flavor & cab

So, have 2 main sounds currently in the UP project band. Def the triple Rec of the last 5 songs & before that the 50 caliber+.

Will be able to slave the Triple into the 50 for that set..& then the 50 into the rec for the rock

What happened is the Marshall small cab with sheffields/swampers & orange cab with celestion k100's complimented so well..talk about rounded..very full very clear tone. Very balanced & its full but doesn't have to be massively loud to sound loud..But when you bring to kick drum level..its all there.

Had to get myself over some mental hurdles of preconceived gear use & keep mixing & matching until found it. Way worth it. Should be a fun time recording the next one soon.
