I was flipping through the cable TV channels of same old same old as I await picking up my girlfriend at the airport around 10:30-11 PM, and I hit upon one of my favorite movies of all time.

But I even get a bonus as NHL network made a tribute show called Slapshot at 40 to put me in the mood.
I like how they present lots of trivia tidbits about the movie.

I can't wait to see the movie!!!!

Well, I am still watching it despite them censoring everything about the movie that gave it it's edge.

Now, I have to ponder my other cornerstone movies of my life.

We have the EXACT same taste in Movies Chili---- you left out Blues Brothers. Spinal Tap, ANYTHING by Monty Python...........and STRIPES........
"The Aunt jamima treatment" ----I used that one several times.......
 
Adrian, actually I didn't leave them out. Blue Bro's etc was on my mind, just my fingers hit send b4 I added those exact movies.
 
I love Monty Python! Especially "The Life Of Brian" and "The Holy Grail"... They were so funny I laugh at the jokes even when I aren't watching them!
 
Slap shot was awesome its kinda based on the hockey player John Brophy, this guy played minor league hockey here on long island for the long island ducks Then the american league floded
He also coach the maple leafs he died last year, i sleep ,breathe , hockey its my fav sport
