Six String Through a BASS Amp...My PRS May Have to Wait???

So...I have always wanted an Ampeg SVT CL-300 to play guitar through. Well...I have a chance to pick one up.

What I want to know??? Has anyone used a BASS amp for guitar and if so what are your experiences?

I have used a Ampeg Profile with my Kemper and I love it, but it's not like I played through the real deal...

Yes.

In 1984, I started using a Traynor Bass Master and Ampeg 8x10 Bass Cabinet. I used a (then new) DOD FX50 and FX90 and that was my rig for quite some time. Then, in 1988, I bought my Marshall 2203 and 2034 8X10 cabinet, (serial number on that cabinet was 18990) from Wayne Charvel's painter.
