Should I

I got a new neighbour last year. Had a bit of an issue with him cutting my cedars all the time, he installed a humongous pool in his backyard.
Anyways, other than the pool he has speakers outside, now he had a tv with soccer and obnoxious stuff blaring, we had to go in the house and close the windows.
Anyways, “the should I “ referred to me buying an Orange Rockeverb 50 2x12 and practice Hells Bells on the back porch for 4 hours a day.
Though I am pretty sure that my Orange Rocker 15 can convey the message. Anyways, will have to see how it plays, so far he has been annoying for 2 weekends in a row. Living in Canada, we have a short summer to enjoy being outside, sigh.
But really the last thing I want is a war with the neighbour

I have a friend who has strategy for his awful un-neighborly neighbours. He does this only they hold semi-frequent deck/patio dinner parties. He waits until all is set up, the guests have arrived, the grill is going, the drinks are flowing, music thumpin' and they are all enjoying their party oblivious to all around them. He unrolls his extension cord to near the fence. Powers up, and goes back into his home. Usually takes 10-12 minutes before the next-door party has moved inside.

Shop Vac.

You don't have the whole story, but from what I've been told about this crew, they are fully deserving of this treatment.

Oh yes, I like that, I had a shopvac neighbour, very efficient

I'd start off with some pleasant conversation, laced with lots of passive aggressive threats.
If your neighbor doesn't care about respecting your desire for peace and quiet, there are ways to invade upon his sanity.

Did you say pool?
I know how much of a delicate balance of chemicals it takes to keep them working correctly.
Those things can get expensive to keep fixing...

Love the shop vac idea too, btw...

I’d record their noise for like 10 minutes. Then play it back through a 100w 4x12 dimed. I did this with annoying barking dog at my last house. It was across a 100 yard canyon so I didn’t know them and they would let him bark for hours. I recorded the dog for 5 minutes and played it back later that evening through a 160w Fender Stage 112 amp. Did that for about 30 minutes. Never heard the barking dog again.

Hire @Ramo's band.

Boubou...!

Oh...yes..peel the paint off his house. But first, the time honored
"Hey, Hi there! I'm Boubou. Wanted of share that if my noise gets to be bothersome, please ring me up and let me know, okay? Here's my phone number."

If they are conscious people, they will do the math. If they are not...at least you will know.

So I need to figure who this is.
By the way, the neighbours calmed down, they are definitely more noisy and obnoxious than the older lady who lived there before.
My OP was as much to let you guys know I like Orange amps as it was about the neighbour. Eventually I’ll post pics of my gear

these lot hahah

LOL. I worked as a chemist in pharmaceutical industry for 35 years. We had a few ideas on how to use chemicals to solve a few social issues.
But being retired I don’t really have access to the fun stuff.
I always wondered what would happen if I threw a brick of potassium in a swimming pool.
But I am going to play nice, for now

NO MAN!! That is sooooo wrong to do.

Use a 100w DSL and a full stack.

A 212 pfft! Amateur hour!!

I think it's best to make peace, been at war with the neighbor to close to home long story
after the divorce their renter broke into my former house the cops were at my work my German Shepard
killed the invader what a bloody mess the dog catcher had my former dog in a cage I let her loose
I told all involved the dog was doing it's job and had never been viscous.
Next all I could afford was a condo had to rent a rehearsal space for band practice when I did buy a house
first band practice cops were knocking on my door 1996 I spent $140,000 sound proofing and remodel
I removed 57 trees the neighbor's went ballistic I told them it's best we get along.

Being out in the desert is nice for that.
Neighbors are not next door, they're down the road. I could drag out ALL of my gear and crank it up, and nobody would be bothered in the slightest.
