I first met (online) John a.k.a. guitarweasel in 2011 where John was the administrator at an SG forum. John had made and published an extensive list of SGs throughout the years. One day in 2016, John went to login to the site to find that he was no longer the admin, he could not login to the site which was totally redesigned and all of the hard work he had put into getting the SG catalog together was flushed down the drain of obscurity. The web site had been sold and the new owner of the site did not find value in this resource.

That was about the time that this forum was started and guitarweasel joined the moderation team here. Well, thanks to the Wayback Machine, we are able to recapture a lot of the stuff that guitarweasel had put up. Those of you that are true SG fans will find this very interesting...

Maybe my computer or internet connection. Can't get this to open. Thoughts? Not having any issues with other web sites..... like TTR. FB. Etc.

....... never mind. Finally pulled it up. Actually timed out 4 or 5 times. Then there it was. <insert shoulder shrug>

Just a quick look at this catalog of info. That's a whole lot of work by John just to have some dude with a corn cob up his backside, decide to delete it. Sheese!!

I j
I remember those times. ETSG was a good forum before that happened.
Farewell John, and thanks for everything.
I joined just before all this hit the fan. Yes. It was a good forum. But there was a noticeable change after the change in ownership. And from what I’ve been hearing lately. Pretty much any forum owned by that guy is pretty much in the same place.
