Second that. To @CoyotesGator , @Metal89 and any other member here with friends or family down there, i wish you the best. Absolutely BS what you guys are going thru and no excuse as to why any state in this country would have to suffer from a poor infrastructure backbone in the 21st century, considering technology and the money paid to utilities all across the board.

I hope they fix this mess

LPG gas reserves are low in some States, Just read an article this morning Canada is sending loads of LPG to help out in these circumstances. Hope things get better for some of these suffering States..

Arnt you guys getting our oil now but we cant, been trying to figure the recent pipeline madness out

pretty wild down here all the fighting over it.

I have one nephew in Ft. Worth with intermittent power and one in Austin that had to find temporary housing. They're Iowa boys, so they know how to deal with this weather, but it would still suck. Everyone should own a generator it seems.

It has nothing to do with lack of oil in Texas. Texas has mega oil coming out of it's own butt-ox.
The state of Texas is floating on top of some massive vast oil ocean.
Some of the Texas power generation plants are shut down for repairs.
It has more to do with unexpected electrical demand. They were not prepared for a massive increase in power load.

i was referring to the oil going up the pipeline .. to Canada , have friend on Keystone line laid off, Gas prices is going up again just like last time

In 2019, Canada was the largest foreign supplier of crude oil to the U.S., accounting for 48% of total U.S. crude oil imports and for 22% of U.S. refinery crude oil intake. Canada exported 3.7 million barrels per day to the U.S. in 2019, 98% of all Canadian crude oil exports.

wonder why,,, 1613602984293.png who"s oil is flowing which way..just curious... prices up here mysteriously since jan 20
