Shot a couple pictures tonight at rehearsal for promo stuff.
We play a silly talent show thing at a school Thursday.
But we play the Verde Valley Fair on Friday night.
Potentially a few hundred new people to make their ears ring!!!

I have a drummer buddy of mine in your state.
His band is named
CYRESS
if you guys are ever on the same bill as them, tell Ralph I said what’s up bro.
I am not sure of his location, but they do play a number of gigs quite often.. a few years back he was in a band called
GYPSY ITCH they were an original band as far as I know.

I have known Ralph since the late 70’s.
Knock ‘em down. Then set them up and do it again.
You guys seem to have a better music scene in your area than I do locally.

Cheers

Well. It didn't go off without any hitches, but I had a blast!
The sound people called us and said we couldn't bring our own drum, had to use the set they provided which immediately pissed our drummer off.
I don't blame him. I mean ya I get it, they want things to flow smoothly and they want to be lazy and not have to re mic every kit all day.... But that sucked.

We stumbled thru the first song... I forgot the order of a song I wrote and we've played hundreds of times ha ha ha nerves I guess. The beauty part of performing original songs is that nobody knows what order things are in. But seasoned musicians can still hear it when you get lost....

Overall the sound was great!
Overall we Slayed!
I love reading people's faces and body language as I'm ripping thru riffs and screaming in their faces ha ha ha I could see lots and lots of people coming in from other parts of the fairgrounds to see what we were about. A lot of them had the same "holy poop" kind of look on their faces.... There just aren't any metal bands around this rural redneck town. And I sensed that a lot of them were kinda blown away.

We didn't get any video or even a sound recording... but I saw a hundred phones out, so I'm hoping we'll get some pictures and videos in soon.

My voice held out pretty well, and I at least nailed my guitar solos. We got cut 2 songs short of our set, but that's the way it goes.

I had an immensely great time!

Looks awesome!!
And that right there tells the tale. That's what it's all about.

My bro used to play music he really didn't like simply for the money but it wasn't like earning a living money. Enjoying it? I dunno...
You are playing your own music somewhere where it does not seem common and enjoying the heck out of it. I don't see it getting better than that!
Well done!!
