Hurricane Sally SLOWLY pummeled the gulf coast today

Ive heard from several friends/family--- Scruffy Headed Nerf herder is o.k. lost some trees and power and a little damage to the home-- but o.k.

missed us in central swamps
@ScruffyHeadedNerfHerder took a direct hit pretty much in S.E. Al. (messaged with him today though -- he is o.k. no power but o.k.)

My Mom in Mobile also got some trees down -- no power etc.

might need to load the chainsaw and some fuel tanks and generators and head west ........ not confirmed yet but might be my "weekend plans"

Hey... Glad you guys are okay. For some reason I thought you were more south. It was headed for me at first then it wandered east. Florida took a beating being on the east side of the storm. Good to hear you had minimal damage.

Hope she can get up and running without you making such a drive into bad conditions.

My daughter is moving to Jacksonville next month. Not happy having another house in Florida, but hopefully her 3 years will go by
untouched by a hurricane...
 
The Panhandle got hit plenty when we lived there. I had to replace my roof on the Panama City house a couple of times. Had a house in P'Cola as well, it never saw any damage.
 
Havent Seen how Dauphin ISland Al. fared.......guessing not to well.

no I think that is the newer one hwy 98 "Bay" bridge-- barge broke lose yesterday got caught in the uprights and ripped a few out ................SWAMP LIFE
