FOOL report---- and -- TOTAL DISCLOSURE---
IS it AS good as a GIBSON? ----well--- no-- However it is DAMN good for under 200.00 new delivered.
ALSO tbtf --- it needs some adjusting --- it is not "perfect out of the box" but HELL I wouldnt be either if I spent 36 days in a box flying around the WORLD--------this thing went from China to NY to Tampa to me.....that is a long commute.
--its as good as the Epiphones --Greg Bennetts--jay Tursers and that lot/ilk.
Tuners and hardware are cheesy roughly Epiphone level quality---but functional ---though in time will be replaced....

--- its finish is good, frets and inlays excellent---tone is great---sustain is as good as anything I own.....
Strings are crap--- they will go--- and it will get a good set up tomorrow and SHOULD be a perfectly serviceable good looking hunk of Gibbenstein

HOWEVER I would call it a 3 footer--- from 3 foot away its as good as any other Gibson-- in the hands of someone who has held HUNDREDS of Gibsons ........its OBVIOUS its not a REAL Gibson.

Regardless -- I like it

Sweet looking geetar! Glad yours made it safe...I would have felt terrible if it hadn't worked out...these really can't be beat for under $200 delivered!

My Custom with Spectre logo and Made in Uranus stamp has landed in San Francisco and I expect I might have it by Friday...

I paid $300 for many upgrades and we'll see if they keep their promises...I still expect crap tuners, but it better have a one piece body and a full thickness maple cap!

I have a real nice set of PUP's just waiting to be dropped in...

HNGD. Glad it is a good bang for the buck budget import.
I cant get behind the Gibson logo though.
HOw would you compare it to the Agiles you have or have had?

HNGD.I cant get behind the Gibson logo though.

Yeah, that's a bridge too far for me. it's technically illegal - sorry man I just don' get the point. If it wasn't pretending to be something it isn't I'd be all for it but as-is with the Gibson logo I find it kind of offensive.

It would be interesting to know if those are Epi pickups (many Chibsons do have them) or other generic alnico stuff.

Btw which pups do you intend to put in it, Adrian?

I can think of a reason for using a cheap, fake guitar.

If, for some reason, you really wanted to look like you were playing a Gibson guitar, but you were afraid of damage or theft at the gig, the fake ensures your real Gibson will be safe.

If the fake is damaged or stolen, you're out a couple hundred dollars versus a couple thousand dollars.

Funny, many dudes I know who own Rolex watches keep a fake just to wear in unsafe places

I am not certain Sergio--- the pups in it sound rather nice now--- I was thinking of something from the Guitarfetish line ......maybe some vintage low imp. PAF style or I could go with some Filtertrons (think Gretsch) --- I mean --- why not--- its a bastard child anyway --- I do not intend to pass it off--- I may even go with the Guitarfetish wiring harness that allows "quick clip" pup swaps and over time TRY EM ALL.... this thing would be a lovely test mule. SInce its resale value is a stay in the gray bar hotel.....its going to be here a while and it is a nice hunk of wood.

Yeah, part of the fun is that you can do pretty much whatever you like with it without any remorse of risking to screw up a Gibson

Btw a hint: before swapping the pups, put a good bridge, tuners and PROPER WIRING on it, ant play it. You'll probably notice a big difference in tone

Speaking of which, post a pic of the control cavities!

It would be interesting to know if those are Epi pickups
I am not certain Sergio---
Hey, join Epiphone-talk and ask Paruwi.

Wow, the serial number is unrecognized in the big "G" serial database.
How can that be...:D

Great looking "tribute" axe.
I've seen much worse for way more $$$.
