RIP Paul Raymond

Paul Raymond, keyboardist/rhythm guitarist for UFO is dead. He was part of the classic UFO lineup featuring Michael Schenker and still played with them when he died. A sad day for rock ‘n’ roll.

Opened for UFO a few years ago at the Chicago House Of Blues. They we're a great band, I wonder if they'll continue.

Nice pic, Sysco. If I remember right, Paul was playing with his foot in a cast the night I saw UFO.
One other notable bonus for me that night was Jason Bonham was playing drums for UFO on that tour.

The fact that he played bot keyboards AND rhythm guitar in the band is pretty cool. It's interesting to see that Michael Schenker has kept on using keyboard players who also play rhythm guitar in his band over the years, even after Paul Raymond left the Michael Schenker Group. Raymond was left handed and played guitar left handed, but with the strings inverted like Albert King.
