There was another thread on this. I had not heard of him before today. He was quite talented. I had not heard him mentioned before on this or other forums. Was anyone here a regular listener of his music, or his work with other such as Jean-Luc Ponte?

He was known for his Progressive Melodic Shredding. If I'm not mistaken, AH was a heavy influence on EVH.

R.I.P. Mr. Holdsworth... :sadwave:

He was one of my favourite guitarists. He sure will be missed by his fans. He has had a long and successful career. Here's one of my favourite clips where he plays a mean Gibson SG.
